lanzaparol works really well!! I have had no flutters since taking it and very few attacks of AF. Take it!! Can I ask what caused your two episodes of AF. I have had very few episodes since two ablations six years ago! Mine were caused by something I ate and the covid vaccination.

That's good news, but I would be cautious and ask your doctor for advice. I have been taking lansoprazole and a similar tablet for many years for reflux acid, I can't manage without it, sadly, or the acid becomes overwhelming and that in itself can be very dangerous over time.
The problem is that in a few people, with long term use, the drugs cause side effects. One is to reduce B12, calcium and magnesium intake and perhaps cause even other important effects. Stopping the tablets can be very difficult as doing that causes a rebound effect of excess acid. In my case, I wish I had found other ways to cope with my acid problems back when I started on them. As I say, I think you should be cautious now, at the start of taking them.
