I take 500mg of Solgar Taurine. Are you taking magnesium too?

I take NOW 2000 mg of Taurine (at least I began a week ago) and about 1200 mg. of magnesium a day - at least I started a week ago.

That's interesting because on my 500mg bottle it states take 1 daily and 'Do not exceed stated dose'. Who advised you on your high dose? Not too sure how long I've been taking it, perhaps the whole of this year. I take it along with 80mg of Magnesium Glycinate, can take two of those if I want.

Yes I feel it has helped my AF.

I have a friend who advised me as it helped to put his Afib into remission. My magnesium is citrate 600 mg and 600 mg of Taurate. I have been diagnosed with Afib now two months. Since this has begun I have lost 27 pounds. I want to lose another 25 pounds at least. I began at 261 pounds. Many say that weight loss, along with "lifestyle modifications" can put Afib into remission. I also take Flecinaide and Toprol.

The key thing with these is you must compare apples with apples. Some bottles say 1000mg of magnesium but what you need to know is the amount of Elemental magnesium in each product and how absorbable each of the magnesium types are. I started on Supps

How long have you taken this and what has been the result? Thanks.

I'm always surprised when this question comes up. Each manufacturer designs their tablets sightly differently and puts the recommended dosage on the container.

That's it! Read the instructions!

Hi

I was confused when B12 was gone from the shelves Solgar B12 1000ug under the tongue. Sublingual.

I was sold a different brand but my dimishing B12 (Bqw deficient) showed to check.

I took the old bottle of Solgar B12 where I need 3 x days taking 1 a day for a week and other bottle.

I would need 28 pills day x 3 a week to equal my usual SOLGAR.

I think you should be able to rely on SOLGAR for it's measure.

Whilst natural foods which overdose your natural level are eliminated supplements don't so you run the risk of toxicity to say Potassium especially. My Potassium is at 4.5 without supplements. 5.0 is on the balance of toxcity. I eat a small banana or 1/2 big with my dog JAZ getting the tip. (ha ha she knows what "nana" means)

There can be no real recommendation I’d have thought as it’s not accepted as a medicine so far as I know. I have read that care needs to be taken when taking it as it can have side effects. There’s quite a bit online about this but it’s hard to locate as there’s so much mythology and commercial stuff there to wade through.
