Got home short time ago, follow up appt 20th Oct.

Consultant said MRI scan showed a small area on right side fully contained within the gland he said his initial reaction was possible active surveillance, I told him not to get carried away.

Just had a pee, colour of rose wine but that's normal, I'm a red wine man myself ha ha.

Cant fault NHS

Biopsy was ok, transpiraneal not transrectal, transrectal being phased out due to infection issues i.e. potential sepsis due to transmission of bacteria from the rectum into the bloodstream.

Just to cap it all started with stomach bug last night, didn't get it at hospital as it takes a fèw days to kick in, just hope I aint passed it on at the hospital, sods law innit
