Recent second catheter ablation

Hi...just want other people’s experiences, I am 82 had second catheter ablation four weeks ago, last two nights have woken with fast heart beat, back pain, sweating, felt pretty rough...had to use loo quickly...is this the norm, BP not too bad....heart beat around 82. On 2.5 Bisoprolol, were noac and all other meds. Have been to GP because of shortness of breath, the Furosomide is supposed to help, still short of breath....but do not feel very good...anyone out here experiencing similar experiences

I think you should call your arrhythmia nurse where the ablation was done and explain. Probably normal healing as it can take many months but GPs seldom understand these things. Chest pain etc needs tio be investigated.

There's a chance you could have an infection. As Bob has said please contact your AF nurse at the hospital where you had your ablation.
