Hello everyone. Just discovered this website and you all sound so helpful I decided to join in. I have AF and on many drugs. Was due to have an ablation this Tuesday but it has been cancelled so possibly on the 5th September now.

Hello Ally :-) welcome . I am quite new to the site too and have found more information here that than I think I could get from my GP in a hundred years...

Hello Ally and welcome. This forum is a super source of help and experience and has been a real lifeline for so many of us after AF diagnosis.

It's a pain that your procedure was cancelled but September is just around the corner.

Welcome. On the whole we are a happy a d helpful bunch. There is usually someone who can relate to your problem and offer advice. If your problem is outside our personal experience one of the volunteers or even the AFA itself will step in and suggest where and who to go to for help. X

Hello and welcome.know how you feel after a cancelled ablation, happened to me end of June but it all went ahead in July.Yours will soon come around with better times ahead.

Welcome Ally, we are what politicians - that word will set off my AF - would call a broad church. We have a wide range of symptoms, or none at all, we are active cardio bunnies or avoid exercise because of dislike or disability and, some of us tolerate certain drugs and a few of us have difficulty with the same ones. In short, there will probably be at least one person here that can empathise with you or write about their experience. You can add to that well of knowledge, inclusion and good hearted neighbourlyness that is this forum.

That pretty well sums us all up 😊

I had my ablation nearly six weeks ago and no arrhythmias so far but extremely tired. Others seem to go off and exercise immediately so there is no normal but at least you will find out you are not beyond the norm.

We are all so different

Best of luck
