I am on this medication but reading all the posts have not seen it mentioned.

Dies anyone else take it ?

Just looked up Nice website and it appears to be used alongside low does aspirin post heart attack or where unstable angina due to narrowing of cardiac arteries. Not anything to do with AF from what I can see.

I believe Ticagrelor is described as an anti-platelet drug. I was prescribed it as an alternative to clopidogrel, which brought me out in a nasty rash. In my case Ticagrelor was added to my existing Warfarin to prevent complications after an angioplasty with stent. The combined effect of these two drugs resulted in bruising at the slightlest knock, but otherwise there seemed to be no side effects.
