RP & T3B
Hi tn12, I just reached out to you. My husband's diagnosis is very similar to that of your husband's. We hope to receive excellent advise tomorrow from MSKCC in New York. I will share their thoughts following his appointment.
Stephanie
Hi Stephanie, yes I just read your update, thank you for sharing. I really hope you get good advice tomorrow, please keep me updated on his treatment. It would be very helpful to know what can be done. So far, my husband's PSA is 0.02, 22 months post RP. I will keep you updated as well. Thank you and good luck tomorrow ❤️
I had RT with T3b, which is never a good idea but sometimes it’s only hindsight. I did have ADT, RT and abiraterone soon after the RP in 2019 in a clinical trial. Undetectable PSA throughout and still.
Of course all T3b’s aren’t the same though and neither are we, even with seemingly identical pathology. What Gleason score? Any seminal vesicle invasion or lymph node metastasis?
Hi London441, I'm glad to hear you are still undetectable. He's GS is 3+4 (25%), bilateral SVI , no LVI
Resembles my profile. Nearly 11 years since RP and radiation. PSA now rising.
I had RP Feb 2009. Undetectable PSA until 2017 rising slightly until it reached 0.12 in 2021. Rt in 2021 with no change in PSA. Bladder cancer in 2022 interrupter my PC treatment my current PSA is 0.75 so my MO will decide on starting ADT soon
RP May 2019, but GS: 4+5=9, the BCR-free odds of which (for the first 5 years) are only ~20%. I was in the 80% group so, on November 2021 started my own treatment plan with good results up to now.
