Erleada - very unwell

My husband was diagnosed about 9 years ago with PC 4+3 with possible Met to hip bone. Have been on Decapeptyl 6 months injections. Have had Xandi and now Erleada. Was on this for a year, but due to nausea, vomiting and awful taste in his mouth which affected his appetite and made diabetic control difficult. Consultant took him off Earleada for 6 months. He then went back on, taking 2x tablets a day. Again he got the most horrible taste in his mouth. His PSA started to rise, having been undetectable, and was put back on full dose of 4x a day. Apart from the awful taste and no appetite, he is now vomiting clear mucous once or twice every day, has constant nausea and feel absolutely awful, He is housebound due to this and his quality of life is not good.

We have heard today from his consultant to stop the Erleada immediately, and my husband is due to see him mid January 2024. Has anyone else had these awful side effects. I am interested to know where all the mucous comes from, and what causes it?

If he's diabetic and taking Ozempic, the Ozempic is likely the cause of the nausea. I have that too. I still take both Erleada and Ozempic; added omeprazole to help with reflux and that also helps alleviate nausea.
