THC/ Cannabis having Curative Effects for PC???

Cactus297 profile image

Ran across this study:

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

But is there any proof that THC helps to cure PC or lower PSA? I believe it’s used for pain relief, but are its benefits been proven beyond that?

Thank you very much.

Strictly IMHO for me personally…. cannabinoid’s have recently jumped ahead dramatically. Delta 8 gummies a laugh factory ( mood enhancing ) , thcV energizing and elevating. thcP has definite pain management properties, the “ delta 8, thc 9, thcP “ combo ( commonly available where Delta products are sold ) has the intoxicating abilities of omg marijuana and is a party in a gummie . But I’d say that if top drawer primo bud like white widow, the purples , Jack Herer had cancer treatment / retardant abilities, I’d be absolutely cancer free yayayay yayayayay yayay yayayayay. Maybe if they poke around in the hundred different cannabinoid’s they’ll find something that works. There might be a possibility, but right now I’d say not likely as things stand.

❤️❤️❤️

Yayahahaha that’d be a toughie. Delta 8 cannabinoids pack a punch. Read my reply to Kainasar ( below ) for more info.

Would be helpful to know where to buy the goodies online. Thanks.

delta 8 and all hemp derived cannabinoids are legal federally and legal in nearly all states. You can Google : where to buy delta 8 online for a list of some of the sites. There is an abundance of them. The “ 18best places to buy delta 8 online “ list is a good one.

Moonwlkr is a popular brand in central California and is sold all over town in CBD shops. I buy Moonwlkr ( located in Nevada ) products directly from the maker because it’s a little less expensive in the mail and they always have a wider selection of products available. Be careful googling moonwlkr because several sites have closely similar names.

Thanks! The best deals I could find were at Diet Smoke, 10mg, 30pcs @$36+, and Moonwlkr, 25mg, 20pcs @$29.+

I use Moonwlkr , … read the dosing info I gave mrscruffy , below. See the photo too.

These are “ serious “ powerful products, no limp lizard effects going on here. You should treat them accordingly. Just say’in

Report back on delta products for the others here on the group. I suspect there is some interest with other guys here and caregivers as well. If you are down , a fun lift is good for everyone / anyone.

Xanax if you ate too much and feel uncomfortably high .

Note that “ laugh factory “ is a literal thing. It’s possible to laugh so hard for so long ( hours ) that it becomes physically uncomfortable. Rib cage discomfort , tearing up , etc. again dosing might be key. Start off light and work your way up.

😁😁😁

Good suggestion to use caution when searching for MoonWlkr. There are some hinky companies using the same name

Kaliber, just ordered some Moonwalker, what is a good dose in terms of mg

I’d recommend starting off with half a gummie cube or even one quarter initially. Better start low that rather than have too intense an experience out of the box. The delta 8s are a laugh factory … the “ delta 8 , the delta 9 , thcP “ product will actually take you to the moon and relieve some pain along the way.

Took a half about 8 PM. The evening was really mellow and chill. Got sleepy a little early, and slept like a dream. Woke up clear headed this morning and feeling great. Thanks for the recommendation

Uh huh .. uh huh …. Got your toes wet …. go ahead and eat a whole one now …. Sounds like you aren’t hitting “ laugh factory “ level yet ….. just say’in 😂😂😂

Yeah, took it easy at first as recommended. Friday nights are music nights at our place. If we don't go out, we'll be hoppin' and a-boppin' (and laughing).

Can you believe you can just buy that stuff for mail delivery. Legal and all. Times sure have changed …huh ?

I couldn't believe how easy it was. In the 70's I had a friend who would drive from Northern Oregon to Mexico on his weekends to load up on pot. Now, just click "order" and check the mail in a couple of days...

Yep, it’s totally trippy. Yayahahahaya. Who wudda thunk.

The thcP is good for pain , and the thcV a great mood elevator and energizer. For that all encompassing experience, that “:delta-8, thc9, thcV “ product for the hardcore enthusiast. it’s hammer’s favorite, but she’s a hardcore stoner freak.

Herze a helpful gummy hint: open the bottle of gummies and pull out the sticky , stuck together, gummies …. I use a pair of kitchen tweezers ( not the bejeweled type lol ) and put them in a shallow bowl. Sprinkle them with granulated sugar and toss, like tossing a salad…. and return them to the jar. They should stay loose and separated for easy use.

Just fyi …

Thanks for the tip, and especially the caution about which tweezers to use

It just amazes me the things one can learn here.. how about the Delta-8 stuff sold in gas-station convenience stores?

Kaliber profile image
Kaliber in reply to Don_1213

yayahahahaya. …. Yea it’s not our old hippie days anymore. Here in Fresno, cbd stores are peppered all over town. “ all “ of them sell delta 8 products. You just walk up to the corner and buy a bottle. Of course you can buy marijuana the same way in marijuana stores but delta derivatives come from the inexpensive hemp family of marijuana. It’s dramatically less expensive.

As always: always check this with your pcp or medical care crew to make sure this product isn’t contradicted with your current treatment. I

I know a girl from Ontario that has been surviving for years on Cannabinoid despite her brain cancer. But to each his own as in my case, I did try the RSO (Rick Simpson Oil) and despite feeling better overall, there was no positive impact on the progression of my cancer. Maybe it works for some cancer but it did not for mine.

swwags profile image

No. There is the (in)famous Rick Simpson Oil treatment where a gentleman named Rick Simpson claimed he was cured of cancer, but from what I recall, he never presented any evidence that he actually had cancer. I might be wrong as I often am. But even if he had it, there's no proof that it was the oil that cured him.

That's one guy on the planet. If pot cured cancer, we'd all have been smoking it years ago. The observational study you posted was an interesting read so thanks for posting. Unfortunately, what works in mice doesn't always or even frequently replicate in humans.

Pain management, sure. Anxiety management, sure.

Thank you all for your replies. I was hoping that there had been a follow up study, and that there was a link between Marijuana and a curative effect. But you made an excellent point that if marijuana cured cancer then everyone here would be smoking marijuana or taking gummies! Thanks again!
