Is anyone aware of effects of using GABA to relax and Taurine to get into the gym?

I’m on Pluvicto and having a hard time with fatigue and also restlessness in bed.

Thanks!

If you are having trouble with fatigue in the gym I would suggest a pre workout powder, you take 20 minutes before workout. It contains Taurine, BCCA's and a host of other ingredients designed to boost energy during workout. If you go to Steel workout products you can get a sampler of their products for like 9 bucks. Only thing to watch for is on first trying it maybe use 1/2 of a sample to see how you like it and get used to it.

I take a 500mg GABA and 200mg L-Theanine before bed and seems to work fine. Have been doing so for years. I would suggest L-Theanine it has the same properties as are in green tea and works to help calm the mind. Always check to see if these interact with your other treatments, even though that info may be tough to find or non-existent.

Can't comment on the Taurine. Good luck.

I take very low dose Trazodone for sleep. I’ve tried many things but Trazodone leaves me the least groggy in AM.

Taurine is nice in the gym, but I mostly stay off it, too stimulating. Of course in all pre workout powdered, drinks etc it’s blended with caffeine so there’s that. I’ve not bothered to try it solo.

My suggestion is to get into the gym and then take the taurine , not the other way around. This way you’re already there😀

Trazadone didn't work for me. It caused serious dry mouth that prevented sleep. Doctor called it Traza-boner and it had that effect too.

Sorry you didn’t want. The key for me is extra low dose, 10mg or so.

Trazaboner? I’m confused, what’s not to like?

Restlessness in bed, that's usually in the plus column😉 nothing wrong with a Red Bull now then, helps me get through the later evening music events.

I have read about both but taken neither.

If you can not find quality information, suggest you take a look at the book "The Healing Nutrients within" by Eric R. Braverman. It's an old book but still very valid. Hopefully though your MO or GP would be able to advise you
