Failed for me, declared failed after 4 doses. Has left my eyes very weak, no salivary glands are gone, cannot swallow anything. The high hopes of pluvicto came crashing down ;( did me more harm than good.

Seems that way doesn't it? It's for anyone with advanced stage PC and yes Pluvicto is often discussed. As far as failure goes, I have read of 2 people who have successfully been through treatment. Just 2. Of course, many who are successful may of may not post on this site or even be aware of its existence. Also, I should add, this treatment is fairly new in the US. So there are quite a few patients in the US and hopefully we start reading some good results, both short em and long term.

Lutetium -177 failed for me after having just 2 treatments. Final PSA was 740 which was up from 590 just before the 1st Lu-177 injection. Scans shows Mets has worsened. I didn't have any SEs from Lu-177 apart from Dry-mouth. They asked me to go on a trial of Actinium-255 but I wasn't able to make the cut off date for the trial as I was still glowing from Lu-177 infusion #2.It didn't work BUT I'm so grateful that they gave me the chance to try it.

Next week I'm going on a new (to me) Chemo called Carboplatin. Normally it's used to treat Ovarian cancer in the women. I'm pretty desperate now so "bring it on"!

Interestingly I went to see MO today and found out that my blood test taken 4 weeks after Lu-177 #2 was now down to 610. But the scans don't lie...

Pluvicto looks like it’s working for hubby. He’s completed 5 out of 6 treatments with PSA reduction of 89%. Scans will tell the real story in a couple of months.

I have received 4 doses under the Eclipse trial and have a reduction from PSA 2.0 to 0.1 after the first 3. Will get the results of the 4th in 3 weeks.

Dr. Kwon (Mayo) says that a reduction of 50% after 2 doses shows it is working. Video - PSMA & Lutetium-177 in 2022 | Eugene Kwon, MD | DIY Combat Manual for Beating Prostate Cancer Part 4. Go to about 26 minutes.
