omg yayahahahaya yayahahahaya …. tHAT is funny. My worse fears of a dental visit. Worse, I come out of anesthesia in my violent biker personality too. I have myself strapped in to protect everyone there, when I have anesthesia now, if you know what I mean. I’ve had a couple “ experiences “ that blew one dentist’s mind yayahahahaya. Scared the whole office, thankfully I did minimal damage and didn’t hurt anyone very much. It’s an instinctual thing, dunno know why I do that.

yea I dunno … I think I like to be in control of my conscious state at all times, when that’s taken away… my fight reflex surfaces. Most people meet intense situations, wisely, by stepping back …. I’m the opposite, I meet “ intense “ or dangerous situations with aggression. Always been that way. I have to be careful n life that way. Sounds like we have that in common.

My problem is I don't like being rushed, never have. If I am allowed to wake up from anesthesia on my time, I'm usually ok. Nowadays, though, they rush you in and out like it's McDonald's! How am I supposed to get dressed and walk, when I can't even talk or think correctly? It's like the quote "Let sleeping bears lie!" Not my finest trait, but hey...🕊️🙏❤️🕯️

In 2015 I was put out twice to insert stents into both ureters, L one was being collapsed by the PCa in the lymph nodes. Both times they moved me to a room where my driver and I chilled until RNs thought I was okay to leave.
I think I'm having GA for the 12/23 Biopsy and I hope they don't try and rush me outta there

I think, too, it depends on the hospital as well? Two large hospitals about an hour from me, my preference rushes, the other took more time after surgery and I was able to wake up better and didn't have that reaction. Maybe I should switch hospitals?

Yea, different Hospitals prolly have different policies, but there may be a liability for them if you had something bad happen cuz they released you too soon.
Lol, umm both GA and alcohol are depressants, so kinda No Bueno to mix them together

Thank you for asking, Randy! Yes, I have a ton of issues, but I'm fine. Hubby is holding steady! Thankful for family, friends, music, laughter, my dogs and cats, each day is a gift! 😁🙏🕊️❤️🕯️

I'm alone with my lil kitty Kuuipo. All 5 kids out on their own, ex is down South.
Have my practice to keep me going and it actually lifts my mood esp with patients who've been with us like 20 years. I do meet some for Weekend beers too, but not after GA
So, cooking, eating, hiking and my Newsfeed is all I have 😂💙 oh and Cooking Shows on Cable LOL

Besides the top notch technical medical knowledge here, and all the “ my Johnny passed last night “ , “ I’ve run out of options “ , “ I’m entering hospice “ , “ my psa just climbed to xxx “…. the grieving people needing a understanding helping hand …….. .
some here are encouraging the other croakers to get up and get out and have QOL experiences with loved ones , family and friends. Besides enriching the lives of croakers themselves , it uplifts their close families as well. Less tears from yourself or the wife when both of you are at a resort or just eating a stunning meal quietly together in a local restaurant or at home. It’s hard to be too depressed when you are actually having some food fun or resort fun. There is more than great , first rate, technical medical knowledge and support for grieving family members, and Comadre between croakers ….. this is intended to be uplifting QOL support as well.
That’s why you see the recipes and foodie fun here.
