My husband had that problem until he rec'd his first hormone shot. Unbelievable pain. Can you call your oncologist and tell him you are in terrible pain?!
I love my Dr. He told me from the start there is no need of me being in pain . Get in touch with your oncologist if not go to the ER and get some relief.
I had back/leg pain a few years ago, and they did two weeks of radiation. The doctor wasn't sure it would help, but after the first week (of two weeks) the symptoms were gone! In the ensuing two years they have not come back either! Not saying this is the path for you, but do discuss this with your oncologist and feel free to mention that someone else with very similar symptoms did get excellent results from radiation on the spine. (The did two areas... of radiation, to cover two places where the cancer could have been causing problems...)
I had back pain for years in my spine between the shoulder blades, from aPC mets. I killed the pain using heat. After many heat treatments, it seems to be gone recently. I used many heat methods, the simplest is to hold a hot shower on it for at least a minute. I use a thermometer to try to get 110F. Pain relieved immediately.
