Just read the below the other day and then I went back to look at my inflammation numbers from CRK and Sed Rate. Just to step back in time a little, I had low T and was on SRT for years before diagnosed with PC. After learning about the role of E2 in PC, I see that my NP didnt really have a control on that number, once getting as high as 70.
After reading the below, I again went and checked numbers. I went on TRT again 1 year post RP when PSA was <0.1. 6 months later it was 0.1 and grew to 0.32 and SRT. Months after RP, CRP at 24, sed rate 22. After starting SRT, CRP at 14 and Sed Rate 13. It turned out I had an infection in my hip replacement that led to hip revision. CRP went as high as 30 and sed rate up to 81. Hospital was not doing surgeries due to Covid so had to wait on SRT until after revision.
I think there was more at play with the BCR than just TRT, but will never know for sure. Wish I knew back then what I know now about all these interplays. Oh Well.
