Anybody get MRI showing new multifocal lesions throughout the liver concerning for metastases? This is causing bloating, pain and feeling of always being full with no appetite. Also Chemo stops working as shown in MRIs progression in tumors, PSA, etc. Will discuss with MO this week. Any thoughts welcome.

Hey guy! I haven’t . Some others will answer you . It sounds scary to me. I pray that you can correct this! 🙏
Thank you!
Please let me know what’s going on ? Stay strong . We need the doctors to pull some shit out of their hats and save your ass . Hang in there ! It’s a fn rollercoaster that we are all on ! 🎢
Yes. That's exactly where I am. Tried GemOx Chemo for the liver mets but did not work. Have 2 MO meetings and scans this week and next to discuss. Hoping for PMSA expression in liver mets. If LU-177 is ever approved. Let me know what your Docs say. Good luck.
Which chemo is not working? The type of prostate cancer that often goes to the organs has neuroendocrine type cells and if that's the case, a platinum chemotherapy combination can work against that. It's often second-line Cabazitaxel and Carboplatin.
Docetaxel. My pca is mostly to the bones so the liver is new. Or it could be from the blood transfusions. At this point am scheduled for radiation sessions and willing to pause any chemo esp if not working.
I was diagnosed with PC with 2 visible liver mets in 2019. The combination of Lupron, chemo, and Zytiga shrunk the liver mets in half, but they were still visible on a CT scan. After consultation with my oncologist, I had cryoablation last July on the liver mets. The rational for the cryoablation, which is not standard care for my situation, was that I was tolerating the treatments well and that it would be easier to treat 2 lesions than many lesions later on. I did not have any complications from the procedure. I am having an MRI soon so I will know how well the cryoablation worked. I am not necessarily recommending cryoablation, but it is something you can discuss with your oncologist.
