"A new study indicates that PSA, a prostate cancer marker, is one of the catalysts that activate vascular endothelial and lymphangiogenic growth factors which contribute to the spread of cancer."
When I was diagnosed, I was briefly interested in the role of PSA, if any, in progression. The literature did not support such a role back then.
I hope that this new study is not going to start a wave of PSA phobia. Obviously, men are concern when PSA rises, since it is is a marker of progression. So far, it has not been viewed as a cause of progression.
