Dr. Snuffy Myers says Metformin makes PCa less aggressive over time. NAD+ supplements like Niagen are being promoted for life extension at $40 a bottle and good chance it is total BS. New research shows Metformin holds promise as a life extension drug by mimicking caloric restriction as well as preventing cancer. Through Part D Medicare a lot of Medical Advantage Plans offer Metformin at no cost.

Dr. Snuffy Smith may be right but I have been taking Metformin for 5 or 6 years and was diagnosed with PC last April,2015, had 39 Proton Radiation treatments and the one year later PSA was .35. Still taking the Metformin but it is for type II diabetes.
