am not sure if this is the correct group my 22 year old sons testosterone was 8.8 range 7.7 - 30 do you think thats low for his age, hes been really tired over the past year vit d was low and b12 is low (b12 just within range so gp wont treat) thanks am in the uk

Hi jazzanne,

You are in the wrong group. Hopefully, your son will never end up in an advanced prostate cancer group.

But I can say that his testosterone is seriously low (if I converted it correctly.) 8.8 nmol/L is 254 ng/dL (using the more familiar units in the U.S.) This is 100 points below the 350 ng/dL cutoff for hypogonadism. He should see a specialist, IMO.

pjoshea13 is right definitely to low the question is why. Get him to specialist, he should be running at least in the 20 mmol/l running some blood to see how paturtery gland is working and adrenal glands. Hope you find some answers.
