Does anyone involved in Hormone Therapy for APC have foot pain, especially in the morning? It feels like I'm walking on marbles because of the swelling.

I personally don't have neuropathy/ foot pain, but I've heard many, many men on ADT tell me that they suffer that.  You are certainly not alone in that.

at times the bottoms of my feet feel like they are on fire. Doc said because of a combo of adt and chemo.

I have foot pain that is worse in the morning, but I figured it was plantar fasciitis.  I was diagnosed with that long before prostate cancer.  However, it does seem worse now.  I am currently taking Zolodex and Xtandi.

ALA or Alpha Lipoic Acid will remove neuropathy foot pain.Available at Whole Foods or health food stores. I use 600mg 1x or2x/day.My onc doc,Dr Jeff Turner at Prostate Oncology Specialists In Marina del Ray CA recommends ALA.

Thank you for your reply, I will look into this ALA since I really don't want to add another drug to my list.

I haven't had hormone therapy, but did have a prostatectomy this past week. Each morning I am greeted with excrutiating foot pain, just forward of the deals. It hurts to the point I have to hold on to something in order to advance. I have been trying salt block therapy on my feet. The results are amazing, but I'm afraid it's only a temporary solution because the pain returns the next morning.
