Is this a good idea?

I am creating a website as a one- stop- shop for alternative adhd nonprescription medications. My idea is to have all of the various herbs, supplements, vitamins, etc. that may help us adhd people on one site.

This idea comes back to me each time i need more meds. It is a hard process on a good day. When meds are in short supply its worse.

I also wondered if having all of the alternate meds on one site would be good way, especially for newly diagnosed people, to experiment to find what alternative works best for them.

Yes, i have made a number of websites before... This time i am doing my market research!

Would you use a website like this?

I look forward to your feedback.

Kind regards

There is a guy named Anthony William's who is the medical medium. If you fallow his suggestions.....after some time....not right away you have to put in the effort and time.....months......you'll start feeling awesome. And just like anything else if you dont stick with it.....you'll be right where you were when you started. But it works. So perhaps you could do something like him. You have to back it up and know how to pitch your ideas. Good luck!

I love this idea! There's a new alternative that just recently came out called Roots that you might want to check out to add to your site. yourownroots.com

I've gone SO long without my meds and I almost always wind up Googling alternatives to help, so if I knew there was a dedicated site for this you better believe I'd use it!

Great idea!

There is always a need for good information. I would caution you to make sure not to make any guarantees. Share the information, and when you can do so, also share credible sources. That's my advice.

Jessica McCabe started the HowToADHD YouTube channel due to a similar motivation. She wanted somewhere to save helpful ADHD information, and YouTube was a place that she regularly went to that she knew she could save information to and then find it again. ...and an iconic YouTube channel was born!

I also have an idea to create an ADHD website.

• I don't want it to look like Wikipedia, but I want it to include a wiki. I want to also publish articles about ADHD and things related to ADHD, references to other information sources (maybe even the site you're planning), and so on. I'm in the planning stage.

I may use a website like this, but definitely organize based on symptoms or deficiencies. Also, have a couple good ideas on products to start with, since some supplements are trash. I’ve spent more than $200 on different magnesium’s and all are very different in quality.

Hello All! Thank you for your responses, suggestions, and warnings.

STEM_Dad I don't want to get into legal trouble. I Have enough otherwise! There are respectable medical journals i could reference.

Mamamichl You tested them all! Can i ask what is your recommended magnesium product?

One of my ideas is to allow users to submit products for inclusion. Maybe allow votes from the public. Then, if it is voted in, add to a products description "as recommended by Mamamichl .

STEM_Dad Another idea i had was to have a blog, a positivity blog. Not "this is my problem, what shall i do. But a place where people tell stories about their "wins"! Somethings like, "I finally got my workplace accommodation ". "I just got My husband to go to the doctor!" I found the greatest noise cancelling headphones" ( @JessicaMcCabe @HowToADHD )

Maybe post motivational quotes?

Another adhd focused website would be great to link to.(if my adhd would only stay focused: -(

Jozlynn The yourownroots.com does not work for me. Was this Maca Root?

Trailblazer20 Would you be free to share which of @AnthonyWilliams @medicalmedium programs finally worked for you?

I am getting excited!

Kind regards,

and "Keep on trucking"

May try Googling "Roots Calm Focus"? The website works for me, so I'm not sure what's up there.
