Hello all and thanks in advance. So I have ADHD and also anxiety( fight/flight) where I get put on spot etc. and I start sweating etc.

I don't understand how Straterra is alos suppose to help with anxiety if it increases norephrine which is the fight/flight hormone and would contribute to panic/anxiety. If anything I think I'd need to decrease this homrones response to stop the fight /flight response although I know it's helpful for focus and attenion which it is helping with. Any thoughts? Thanks a lot.

Hi, I have the same experience / issues as you explain in terms of anxiety and more of a freeze / sweating when put under pressure. However I have found that Straterra / Atomoxetine is the only thing that has worked for me. I reacted very badly to stimulants which I also thought sound counterintuitive in the same way they seem to work with those more with the H hyperactive element, but seem to work better for them. I found Straterra to be very subtle, definitely compared to stimulants , but everyone is different. Under review they will start you on a very low dose of Straterra to see how you react.
