Twins picking eyelashes out on medicine, suggestions?

I have twin girls and they have been itching their eyes and picking their eyelashes out on Dexmethylphenidate. They also take Risperidone, which is supposed to prevent the picking. I thought they did great when I bumped the Risperidone to twice a day, but I'm finding when they get their afternoon dose of Dex without the Risperidone, they are picking like crazy when they get home. To add to all this, one of my girls teacher constantly yells at her in class to stop picking! Anyone have a similar problem who may have switched to a different medication that worked? Without the medication, they just space out in school and get nothing done. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Ask the doctor if a medication specific for anxiety might help the picking better than risperidone.
