I' m doing an investigation on eyesight after surgical removal of a large AN. This in not in combination of facial palsy. I do have facial palsy but I do not think that is the on going issue. I have heard of people without facial palsy who have similar issues with their eye,

My issue is severe dry eye. I have vision loss, severe photo phobia, general pain and I too have a returning problem of a pussy eye. I have to keep my eye covered a lot, tons of product, and wash it out. I use antibiotic eye drop when I have this discharge but it just takes it down doesn't get rid of it. . An interesting fact is if I get a discharge that looks like puss that a course of anti-biotics tablets gets rid of it. Tests come back with a Staph infection.

I have gone to multiple eye specialist and the eye hospital about this for a year. They all tell me that it's from the removal of my tumor and because my eye doesn't shut correctly. Now I see the logic, BUT. !!!!

Where is this infection coming from? What they have told me doesn't seem to answer everything.

The next issue is they want me to close my eye more with surgery or close it permanetly. Please tell me what you think. Only people who have gone through this will Know.
