Apple air pod live listen feature. Has anyone with SSD tried the Apple airpod live listen feature ? If so what are the pros / cons ? Might be better than cross aids which I don’t find useful.

Haven’t actually tried that but did look into it s while back. I came to the conclusion that they might be useful for mild hearing loss but not for significant SSD. I have 90% loss in one ear and what little it does pick up is very distorted. The other ear has severe loss. I am currently investigating both Phonak and Oticon CROS aids.

Thanks Steve,I just had Gamma knife yesterday in Queens Square, London.

Some enhanced hearing loss in the impacted hear since then. Previously I used the AirPods to help remove certain issues and help on phone calls so both ears heard the call.

I’ll take a look at this just wonder if the volume balance can be adjust. I guess so and will experiment with my current series 2.
