I had SRS 5 years ago, Consultant happy with me, tumour shrunk a little. Past few days I've had severe headaches, has anyone else experienced this?

I started doing nightshifts at work, this is new to me and I felt ill after first nightshifts, sick, dizzy headaches. So I'm wondering if it's from this.

Hi Rebs2907, I'm sorry to hear about the headaches and dizziness you are experiencing. Hopefully you will get some responses from this group, but I just wanted to provide some information we have on headaches and dizziness. These can have multiple causes, such as dehydration and exhaustion, which could be related to your night shifts. However, we also know that these can be the side effects of a brain tumour and its treatments, where the tumour is putting pressure on your brain.

We would always encourage you to speak to a doctor about a new or changing symptom, so that you can identify the cause of this and get support. It may also help to read some of our information on coping with headaches, as I appreciate that this must be difficult to deal with. You can read this here: thebraintumourcharity.org/b....

If you want to talk about this more, please do not hesitate to contact us at support@thebraintumourcharity.org Best wishes,

Katie
