We know that having a brain tumour can affect almost every aspect of your life with money and finances taking a big hit with time off work for treatment or not being able to work due to the effects of their tumour. For many people it's often their first experince of trying to navigate the benefits system.

At The Brain Tumour Charity we've partnered with Citizens Advice to run a Money and Benefits Clinic for anyone who may be struggling, whether is knowing what benefits you're entitled to, appealing a PIP decision or advice on mortages, pensions or debt. Last year our Benefits and Money Clinic helped 178 members of our community claim over £450,000!

Telephone appointments are available from 9.30am to 4.00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You can book online on our website:

thebraintumourcharity.org/l...

If you need any help, please contact our Information and Support team by emailing support@thebraintumourcharity.org.

This is so good. Thank you for thinking of all the probs one would face. God bless you all. I’ve just had to take an initial week Off - at a v busy time for work. But when I logged in yesterday just to put my out of office on - realised mind is just not able to work now.

I worry about what future holds , Impact on finances if by any chance I can’t continue In full time work. Not a pessimist but like Having contingency plans ready for the worst case options as single mom of 2 kids.

So yes this info is good to have. Thanks
