I have an MRI scan every year this I have had since I was diagnosed 7 years ago . 2 years ago it grew a little then stopped nothing last year but this year it's started growing slightly . My MRI scan was in march this year . But the last few weeks I am suffering badly with vertigo my balance before was bad and I have fallen a few times but in the last month I have fallen twice . I can't even move my eyes to look each way when crossing the road as I feel everything spinning . I wonder if anyone else has noticed a change in balance when their acoustic neuroma started growing ?

Whether you have surgery or not, your compromised somatosensory system is going to give you balance problems. Refer to the post "How I used Brain Exercises to regain my Balance" for a means to regain your balance.
