I’m starting to run out of treatment options locally, and my Dr. is considering referring me to the National Cancer Institution for their TIL/ACT therapy program. Has anyone in the community explored or gone down this path?

I know someone who is going down that path with her husband. She is very knowledgeable. She is apart of the Melanoma Caregivers group; as well as I. But I follow this forum to see how everyone is dealing with treatments. Feel free to go look at the other forum! She has amazing information.

Thank you. My son was originally 2A in 6/16; went to 3B in 3/18 and ultimately stage 4 in 8/18. He continued to progress on Opdivo, after 2 of the Opdivo/Yervoy combos he had to stop due to thyroid and liver adverse reactions. Started a clinical trial of cobimetinib and atezolizumab early December - scans 1/30 should mixed response - lung mets stopped growing; pancreas and kidney tumors decreased in size, liver remains clear, but bone mets to hip increased. He is receiving radiation for bone mets; scans today and will meet with oncologist next week to discuss the LN-144 trial depending on what new scans show. Such an unpredictable disease. He has an amazing team, so thank you for the contact info - I’ll pass on to my son. You are an inspiration and a living hope that people can live and thrive with Stage 4 Melanoma.
My son is 44. So much of life yet to be lived.
