oral BRAF inhibitors ((Mek/ Tef combination?)? My son had been taking them for three weeks when he developed high fever, rash and low white blood count. What symptoms did other folks have ? Did you continue the
meds? Any advice? Thank you .

I have taken BRAF inhibitors for just over two months now. I very quickly developed a rash and also had a fever for a few days. Both things have calmed down now and I generally feel really well. When I reported the side effects to my healthcare team they didn’t advise to stop taking them and they also didn’t lower the dose. This will depend on the circumstances though and should be determined by the doctor.
Hello! I am also a caregiver for my boyfriend with stage 4 melanoma. I know this post is old, I wanted to see if your son is doing any better?! Ryan is also on the Taf/mek combo..
