Positive pregnancy test and then a negative test using different brand next day. Could I still be pregnant?

I have been taking weekly tests as advised by my doctor after suspecting being pregnant at the very early stages. I have waited until the week where it should show, having had faint lines I finally got a fairly strong positive - see image. However I have since done a Clear Blue week check the day after and it says not pregnant. Has anyone else had this?

I am waiting to hear from the midwife for a telephone appointment in over a weeks time but this has put a little doubt in my mind.

Any thoughts are welcome! Thank you x

Hi Ellie, when I was pregnant (with twins!! ) I did two negative tests early on. I don’t think it will ever say positive falsely though if you are pregnant. Hope all goes well for you xx
