LASIK treatment for 70 years old mom?

Hi everyone. My mom is suffering from vision loss. She finds very difficult to manage her spectacles. As a result, we are planning to take her to an eye doctor in Sarnia. We are planning to undergo bladeless LASIK from an eye clinic ( patodiaeyeinstitute.com/vis... ). But now she says that her eyes are sensitive to light and fading and yellowing of colors. From that, I understood that she may be suffering from Cataracts. I have heard that LASIK can not help with vision loss caused by cataract. Is there any big deal in undergoing LASIK treatment for her? She is 70 years old. Is there any problem in undergoing this bladeless LASIK treatment? In addition to all this, she is a diabetic patient. Are there any consequences involved in undergoing this treatment? Please share your views!!

🙂 Because your mother is diabetic, it’s advisable to consult both her doctor, and possibly Optician, before deciding on any specific treatment plan.
