Hiya does anyone know which contracptive stop bleeding or lighting the bleeding, I am the contraceptive implant and the bleeding is a nightmare, I'm bleeding all day everyday, so I need to change my contraceptive ASAP thanks

Hi, I feel your pain. I have this issue and still fighting it. I was told the logynon pill would help as it has stronger hormones. I am yet to see improvements but it could work for you. I am trying to change my diet as I have researched a lot and the number 1 thing was healthy eating and exercise! I’m sorry you didn’t get the miracle answer you was looking for but as least you know you’re not the only one!

It is basically like a contraceptive pill which you take over 21 days then 7 day break but there are three different colours which relate to the different type of hormone your body needs for that time in your cycle. I’ve noticed that I don’t bleed for a week after my cycle but as soon as I move to the third colour I bleed again and I think it’s because that pill has less hormones (just a theory). If you want to stay on contraception then it’s worth a shot but I am personally going to come off of hormone based products because I think it is any good for the body. I don’t know about you but I noticed this bleeding starting when I put on a bit of weight (I only went from size 10uk to 12) but I think the change in weight affected my hormones. If you type in things in google such as what foods to eat for pcos and exercises for pcos it opens you to a world of interesting facts and communities I never knew existed until a few months ago x

Thanks for the information, I am going to speak to my doctor about logynon pill and hopefully it will sort it out for me, many thanks ☺☺

I ended up not doing the seven day break between pills,

I have to argue with the nurse about it at each pill review though...
