Have you joined Thyroid UK?

You're on a starting dose of T4 which will very likely need to be increased once your body gets used to it.

Best thing to do is get a copy of your blood test results, then post them with ranges (in brackets) on the TUK forum for advice.

Have you had thyroid antibodies tested? Hashimotos thyroiditis is an autoimmune disease, & the most common form of hypothyroidism. It's important for your treatment & managing the condition, that you know this. Also, your body's nutrient levels. If it's not been done, ask your GP to have your vitamin D, B12 & folate, also iron & ferritin. These, & some other nutrients need to be optimal (high) in order for your body to convert T4 to the T3 that our cells need.

I've seen lots of posts re conception & pregnancy, so perhaps look up these topics too.
