oestrogen and progesterone ratio

Hi, my oestradiol level on day 7 of my period was 214 pmol/L and my progesterone level was <1 nmol/L.

Can anyone advise me if I have a low ratio?

I'm 48. Thinking I might need HRT but doc has not suggested anything from the above blood tests. Suffer with horrid anxiety and have done for 5 years.

Hi Alison, I also think I'm going through the peri menopause. Can I ask how you know what your hormones levels are? X

Hi I had to ask my doctor to do it, they said they had tested them before but only tested FSH level and not progesterone/oestrogen. If you do get them tested, make sure you get them done on around the 21st day of your cycle. My doctor omitted to tell me this. x

Thanks Alisonw7118 I don't have a cycle as I've got the mirena coil fitted so I don't get the bleeding. I will ask for the full blood test though. Thanks for your help. X
