Okay so about three days ago I felt as if I had a small twinge of pain. Because I've had two UTI's before I know how the pee looks when you have one, and so I took a supplement my gynecologist recommended after I did some research on it called d'mannose. It definitely helped and the pain was gone. I kept doing it for two days until my pee was clear an the pain subsided. Today I didn't take a dose, I was in the car and couldn't get to the bathroom so I had to hold in my pee for a bit (which is SO BAD FOR YOUR BLADDER AND ALL THE BACTERIA I KNOW UGH), and now I feel a little bad again but I don't know if it's just in my head.

Usually when I use my thermometer, I don't know if it's broken but it reads as 97.7 on a normal day. Today its at 98.6, which I know is the regular temp, I'm just TERRIFIED because what if its a fever and I can't tell? I tried to make an appointment with my gyno but she moved two hours away, I can't afford the copay for urgent care and antibiotics are riddled with side effects. I can definitely in an emergency get to these places but not until the morning, and I'm scared it will spread into my blood overnight and kill me. I hate playing this guessing game, I don't know what to do at all right now. Do you think I should just keep doing what I'm doing? At what point do I go to the doctor? I don't know if the feelings in my kidneys and my neck are just me overthinking now or if I'm getting really really sick.

If you suspect you might have sepsis you go to your doctor NOW, and tell them what you think. My dad died from this horrible disease all because the hospitals didn't spot it in time, it became resistant to all treatments they gave him and he ultimately died. If you have any of these then you need to get to a hospital ASAP:-

Slurred speech

Extreme shivering or muscle pain

Passing no urine in 24 hours

Severe Breathlessness

"I feel like I might die"

Skin mottled or discoloured

Those are the 6 symptoms you should look out for when dealing with a sepsis infection

I think you might be panicking a bit. It's just such a small change in temperature, I think that sort of difference can be caused by natural environment changes, and is perfectly normal if you do have a UTI (it could even be a side-effects of your medication)

If your temperature rises further, or if your pain gets worse, or you develop additional symptoms, see a doctor.
