I had a hysterectomy when I was 29 now I am 60 and it seems that I have had hot flashes for the past 10 years. I sit to relax and all of a sudden I am boiling and water is dripping off my face? How long will this last? Somethings water is running down my face but no hot flash. I am so confused

If you still have your ovary's which sometimes are not removed during a hysterectomy you will still get hot flashes, if however you had a full hysterectomy & everything was removed then your Dr. should've put you on HRT straight away to prevent this & other things associated with the menopause from happening. Make sure you see your Dr. as a precautionary measure regarding the hot flashes. Also some medications can make you have hot flashes, the antidepressants I'm taking for a chronic illness make me have them as well as being post menopause(13yrs). Good luck hope you get it sorted soon. 🍀🙂
