Zoladex injections.. what can I expect?

Hello all, has anyone had experience of having an unfortunate large fibroid? I am on the list on the NHS for a myomectomy in Jan 2017 and I am about to start 3 months of zoladex injections. I'm scared of side effects especially as I am on a weight loss journey. Feeling quite down about it all.

Any help? Tips? Gratefully received

I experienced daily heavy bleeding for two years .. I had a coloscopy where fibroids were diagnosed and was given three choices ... Womb cauterisation, hysterectomy or the Mirena coil .. I chose the coil and no longer have periods although I do feel the symptoms of them .. I am on my third coil now
