Hi everyone, I hope someone can help, I would like to know if all this below is normal?
I have had pelvic pain since last October, like a constant stitch and period type pains all through the month, my periods are horrendous, although I am starting to go through the change. I lose a lot of blood during a period which come every 22-25 days and I have a lot of clots. I had a scan last year, nothing to report only that they couldn't find my left ovary. I have a few health issues which I wont bore you will, but whilst under investigation for blood problems I had a PETCT scan and it showed activity on my ovaries (and my bone marrow). So last week I was sent to have a TA and TV ultrasound to investigate my womb and bits again. Last period 7 days before. This time they found clusters of Nabothian cysts, the endometrium was very thickened and heterogeneous measuring 15.2mm and an area of mixed echos at the fundus measuring 17.5mm x 16mm the left ovary contained a 17x14mm dominant follicle. My doctor suggested a clot or polyp and said to maybe have a coil fitted which I have no intention of having I have not had a good experience with them. I have had 3 miscarriages (24-30 years ago), lots of D&C's and 2 births with normal children, but far from normal pregnancy and births. I have had several operations as I had a prolapse after my first son and needed a C-section with my second son. Now this is all happening with constant pain, looking pregnant at 50 and awful periods, I just want it all taken away.
My doctor is arranging a hysteroscopy and I don't want to be awake with it. I am at a loss with what to think, is it normal to have a thickening like I have straight after a period? How big do polyps have to be for concern? Do they move them automatically?
