Hi, reducing weight by exercising along with balanced diet is healthy. Once it becomes a habit,u can continue to maintain weight for long term. Initially it may be difficult ,but, it is worth the effort. Eat less of high calorie food like chocolates, ghee sweets,deep fried, icecreams and more of vegetables. check ur body mass index to know whether u r normal/overweight/obese/ severely obese.For severe obesity, u can consult obesity specialist.
