Losing weight as a brewer…. Help

So I changed career a year ago to become a brewer which at the start was quite an effort from a sedentary office job that I had before. I originally lost 1st during the first 6 months which was great. Come along Christmas 2021 and a stay off work for an operation, and I am back to my start weight of around 19st. I’m 6ft 2 so can carry it ok but I really want to top back down to 15/16 st at some point. My problem comes from it still being a high calorie burn job, often 3500-4000 calories a day when I wear my garmin.

So on a brew day I’ll have breakfast around 3:45 with my lunch at 8:30 normally. This leaves me with quite the gap between that and tea with my wife at 19:00. Problem comes when I’m back home I’m just so hungry and often have enough snacks/sandwiches cooking tea that I effectively have two teas.

I took up running 2021 and loved it, but since we had a baby time is few and far between to do this and do all other things in life haha.

Can anyone advise on any diets, methods or routines I could use to help shift some of this timber and stave off hunger on an afternoon.

I strongly suggest you read and contribute to the Daily Diary and participate in a Weekly Weigh in.

You will find there's loads of tips about better eating, from other members. Sharing your daily menu not only helps you stay committed, it can help other members too. I suggest that you look at what you are eating at your meals times. You don't mention what you eat at breakfast time or at lunch, you only mention what you're snacking on before tea-time.

Hello and welcome, for me personally following a low carb plan helps keep hunger pangs at bay and enables me to only eat twice a day instead of six times a day.
