Well done!! What about thinking of something else to do. A jig-saw, read some posts, wrap up and go for a walk, run up and down the stairs. I'm sure that if you start doing something you'll stop thinking about it.

My go-to comfort food is hot soup in cold weather, literally any veggies can be enhanced with a bit of chili and coconut πŸ˜€

I sometimes want certain food. As long as you have it in your allowance why not. The other day I had toast. Yesterday I had a tea cake. I f you say you cannot have you will not stop thinking about it. 😊

That’s true! I did have toast for breakfast but I am just used to having toast twice to three times a day sometimes so getting used to choosing other more healthy and less fattening snacks πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‚

Well done for not caving in, it’s so hard during this lock down too as we can’t go for more then one walk!☹️ I don’t have any answers, I crave things all the time and just have a cup of tea, sometimes treat myself to a prune if I’m feeling like I need something sweet. It’s amazing how many calories they are if you scoff to many, I just allow myself 2 prunesπŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ˜

KAS40 I just didn’t buy any bread I like this week. It has helped me think of what else I could have for breakfast.

I know! Having the bread there is tough but it’s for the rest of the family so think I just need to hide it out of eye line πŸ˜‚β€οΈ

I buy the rest of the family white bread but I love all the seeded breads. They still have theirs but I can resist that.

Yes, kids have 50/50 and I’m not interested in that but there is a lovely seeded loaf in the kitchen for the hubby that keeps on staring at me πŸ˜‚ Going to stop buying it! πŸ˜‚

Bake your own bread and reduce the sugar in it..

I could kill for a slice of toast right now, even the smell is deadly.. 🀀

I’ve never baked bread before! Might have to give it a go! Thanks for the tip! Yes, toast is definitely one of my favourite smells! So comforting! Why are we torturing ourselves like this! 🀣

in reply to KAS40

Look into a bread baking machine, I have a Panasonic SD-2511 and it's really good.

I don't know why but its impossible to ignore the smell of toast lol

I baked some when we had first lockdown. Not got round to it again yet but plan to. Trouble is I might just eat it all.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

You could always try the latest flavoured Yorkshire teas. By an odd coincidence they do a biscuit flavour and a toast and jam flavour tea. I haven't tried them because they sound weird to me but you never know you might like them.

Hi Slipstick!

I have posted about these! Yes, the biscuit one is helping me loads but not tried the jam and toast one. This one sounds weird to me but half empty shelf in supermarket seemed to suggest that people like it so might give it a go πŸ˜ƒ

Oh i hear ya! I'm craving super thick white toast with lashings of real salty Irish butter. 🍞🍞🍞
