Hmm...let me see. Decided to get 'back on the waggon' in new year. I went to a dermatology apt last week and was told, from their records, I have put on 18kgs in 18mths, so it was a bit of a wake up call! Feeling good, been following NHS calories counting since last Wednesday and had some lovely meals, been nice cooking from scratch again! Fingers crossed 🤞 aiming to lose 2st by Easter...

Feeling good, back on the weightless waggon!
Hello MissDheartbeat and welcome to the weight loss forum. Please have a good read of the Pinned Post “Welcome Newbies”. healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
I don't think there are many of us who can boast about not having a gain in the last year or so.
As you mention losing weight by Easter I suggest that you join "The Spring Challenge"

This is a very large community with lots going on. May I suggest you use the webpage as opposed to the app at least until you know your way around. Take your time and follow every thread so that you know exactly what’s going on.
Here’s the link for a “Tour” of the forum ,if you haven’t already taken it.
If you are following the NHS plan please check your BMI on the NHS site and obtain the correct amount of calories for you.

The Daily Diary and the Weekly Weigh ins are very good places to begin. You will find the DD and WI in the Pinned Posts under “Events”
I find the Daily Diary a very good place to share my plans and get inspiration from other members, too. Once the day’s food is written down I’m far more likely to stay on track.
The key to success is participation, we are all on the same journey.
If you can’t find something just shout, there’s usually someone around.
I hope to “see” you around, Good Luck.🍀😉
Welcome! I hopped back into healthy eating back in Nov 2020. I joined this site and I am really enjoying it. The Daily Diary is a good place to beginIts very friendly. Hope to see you around.
Well done .what the NHS calorie counter.i have the NHS active 10 app.It has help me get of the couch and go for walks .I am hoping to loss a 1st.
That's great, keep going and you'll lose that 2 stone in no time (gradual loss tends to be best so even if it takes longer, I'm sure you'll get there).
Well done! Keep your meals interesting and varied and you will never get tired of it. Remember you are doing it for yourself and if anyone around you comments your healthy habits in any way, keep focused on your personal goal and nothing else.
Thanks!
When people say don't weigh yourself I now do once a month as I was amazed how my weight crept up and up . It took a medical weigh in for me to be shocked into really sorting out my food intake.
Well done cooking from scratch! Would you like to join our Daily Diary and post your menu for tomorrow? Here's the link, I hope to see you there x
