Hello and welcome, Tiatilly
You're in good company You will find plenty of members who have fatty liver and/or similar, related conditions such as Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, polycystic ovary syndrome and obesity - all different strands of the metabolic syndrome.
Have a look at this short video, just 12 minutes, which gives a good explanation of how these conditions come about and how you can start to make changes
This is a simple plan that could suit you phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...
You'll find all the information you need by following this link healthunlocked.com/weight-l... Pinned Posts. A food place to start would be joining a weigh in team - maybe weigh yourself in the morning and join the Sunday Super Slimmers - and by using the Daily Diary, where members share their meal plans.
If you haven't already you can take a tour of the forum here healthunlocked.com/?tour=true
Active participation really pays off so do some exploring, read posts, ask questions, chat and encourage others - it will all pay off for you
Weight is not a cause of fatty liver, but weight, fatty liver and diabetes are all symptoms of a high carb diet. You need to avoid all foods with added sugar like desserts, biscuits and cakes. Also keep fruit intake down and avoid fruit juices altogether. Also avoid alcohol, especially beers, sweet wines and spirits.
A book that should help you is "The Pioppi Diet"
