Having lost a decent amount of weight for a TV film role (and feeling 100% better in myself) I’m now struggling to keep it off. Motivation was no trouble when I had a clear goal to go for - to be reasonably slim by the production date. But now, with no performances on the horizon due to Covid, I’m sinking back into bad habits. I’m also running out of motivational ploys. Has anyone got any bright ideas that might set me back on the right path? (Note: I am just over 60 and male). 😊

Well done Scruffs for the achievement.
I think the best is to seek out your own independent motivation. For example that you want to stay healthy for yourself, and keep this happy feeling, regardless of work opportunities. In my case, Covid was the kick and incentive to keep getting back on plan when I fall off it, to do what I can to take care of my health now, and not “tomorrow”.
We're all in the same boat over lockdown unfortunately, weight creeping on and lack of motivation, but knowing you're not the only one won't be particularly helpful. Perhaps if you visualise the sort of roles you want to be offered when production restarts, and aim to be cast as James Bond's dad rather than Billy Bunter's? 😊 But in all seriousness, keep trying, don't give up.
The best advice I've heard lately is "Stay safe, stay silly!"
