Binged last night 😫

So last night I binged on pizza and biscuits 🤦🏻‍♀️ I can’t do anything to change it as what’s done is done.... hopefully if I stick to plan from now until Monday I will still get a loss🤞🏻 ah well you can’t be good all the time lol today is a new day!!

It’s just one day and you can definitely get back on track. Maybe have a think to see if you know what triggered the binge. Di you eat enough in the day?

Well I was more hungry yesterday must be coming up to time of the month as I always get like that.... I just need to try and resist the temptation and keep thinking to myself the reason why I’m doing this

As everyone has said, it's just one day, and you can get yourself back on track from today.

Don't dwell on it, and think about how far you have come in total :)

The only thing I'm thinking of to help with that is to make sure youre nice and full up after your meals with some healthy fats like avocado? :-) x

That's what I'm thinking, too. Also, listening to your body and mostly if it's saying you're hungry, then you're hungry. When you're hungry, eat. Just make sure it's proper food, not "snacks" or anything carb-y

Once you start changing what you're eating, it really makes a difference to those bingeing impulses. And, of course, there's the obvious thing about not having biscuits etc in the house, then you can't choose them when you need to eat.

Honest, it does, trust me ! When I was low fat I was eating 5 times a day, now it's only once or twice :-) x

Must be something in the water I did too but with a chinese, have been good for a month but had a slip up last night I get weighed Saturday I think I starve from now till then 😥

Hi Katielouise, just wanted to remind you, as others have done, that you are not on your own. I have struggled with binge eating for most of my adult life, I am 57 now, so that’s an awful lot of binges😊My last binge was on Saturday, I managed to stay away from chocolate, but overate with cereal and bread. I hate waking up with that feeling of self loathing when you remember the previous days binge. Back on track now, I hope you had a better day yesterday and last night. I am following LCHF with IF and have lost 2st. Like you say, you can’t change yesterday, just learn from mistakes and carry on. 💐

Your welcome, thanks for your support too. Yes, it is a constant battle, I also binged on walnuts on Saturday, that was 1600 calories in about 20 mins. I have to stick to smaller packets, even though they are a lot more expensive. The support from people on this site is helping me a lot. I had been a member of SW, prior to lockdown. I didn’t stick to the plan 100% as I also counted calories. I haven’t gone back since they started having the groups again, I feel I am getting more support from the members here.

I totally agree hun I did sw off and on for 9 years and although I lose 4 stone when I first started the weight went straight back on and I got bored of the plan, I’m loving calorie counting as you can still have what you want but in moderation.... I’m the same when I start on something I just can’t stop and I love walnuts lol

had issue with buying shop bought pizza and could not avoid the biscuit aisle, i now try and smart shop in two way always have a list and when i store don't devata from the list second way i do it is try and get someone else to do the shopping or buy on line that way don't get tempted by the jaffa cakes and tunnocks wafers, also if want pizza now i make my own i know what's going on it and can control size of it so don't end up over eating . if you search on line you can get some good recipes for making pizza with cauliflower rice bases which is wicked.

Thank you I will take a look online ☺️ and I’m lucky in that respect as I can’t have a lot of sugar so I don’t tend to buy chocolate and stuff like that I have to have the sugar free options which are limited anyway.... so I only get them as a treat now and then but once I start I can’t stop so it does look like I’m gonna have to give them a miss for a while

Katie I went away on a cycling trip with a mate. Healthy eating and drinking went totally out the window! Five pounds on ! I've got one off but will have to work to get back to where I was.
