Can i ask - why do you want to lose 2 stone in weeks?

Is there a specific reason why you want to lose that amount in that time scale?

Hi joeglas and welcome.

Could be done sensibly in maybe 14 weeks. How many weeks were you thinking?

Hello, joeglas, and welcome to the forum 😊

I don't know a safe or healthy way you can do that. A good, healthy weight loss would be 1-2 lbs per week, so between 3 and 6 months. Experience here will tell you that weight loss is unpredictable and fluctuates.

Hi, joeglas , Welcome.

If you have been over-eating and/or you have just had a "blow-out", and if you have no diet history or metabolic problems, you might have fluid etc. to lose... and you might be able to lose seven pounds plus two pounds a week, which is seven weeks. One pound a week would be better - and you would be more likely to keep it off.

I met somebody that lost 4½ stone in 50 days - but that involved dragging a sled to the South Pole!

Please re-think this one. You've presumably taken several years to get into this position, and it will take a few months at least to sort it out. Remember, the aim is to remain two stones lighter, not to lose it temporarily and then put it all back on again. That means a complete change in eating habits, which takes quite a bit of adjustment.

Don't worry, it's totally doable. Just not on a timescale of weeks.
