Full of tuna!

Lunch: 2 x Dr Karg crackers, carrot and quark (112 cals each). One with 44g apple, pork and cider pate (150 cals) and one with 20g full fat cream cheese (57 cals). They are jumbo sized crackers and take a lot of crunching and munching to consume. Had a small salad with some balsamic dressing. 54 cals

Dinner: Giant tuna steak (220g!) with a tangy topping (olive oil, garlic, chopped plum tomatoes, yellow pepper, chopped black olives, saffron, paprika, red pesto, parsley = 164 calories) with 70g of boiled baby new potatoes (52 cals) and 100g green beans (24 cals). I have to say the tuna steak was way too much, but I ate it rather than give it to the cat.... I'll ensure I order smaller ones next time!

Overall lunch: 486 cals, Dinner, 522 cals. Drinks (teas and coffees) 107 cals

Total: 1113 calories, that's 13 over my allowance of 1100 per day. Maintenance calories are 1364.

The food looks lovely I have never had tuna steaks. Pineapple27. I will have to try some new foods but I am afraid I have got a bit stuck in the mud and tend to stick to the same thing as I get a lot of indigestion and reflex.

That’s a shame Caroline62 ... tuna is really good value calorie wise... and very healthy - low fat, high protein.

I may put it on my shopping list for next week.
