AVOIDING THE IRONING

Laura97 profile image
13 Replies

Despite my reservations I have discovered how to post recipes on this site.

I have been online for quite a while now.

So far I have avoided:

a) the ironing

b) doing the washing up

c) cleaning out the cat litter tray

and

d) going for another walk.

I ought really to push through my apathy and go for the walk.

I am certainly not going to do the ironing.

Going for a walk is defo better than "ironing" in my opinion anyway! :)

My cats are quite well trained and only do their whatsits insides when they are up to the armpits in snow, as they have been the last couple of months lol! I have now put them out today in hopes they will not require their litter tray this weekend! :) I have a dishwasher now so I avoid all dishwashing duties at all costs! :)

If you have you tube and want to get some exercise then try this for a laugh... I do it some mornings... let me know what you think?

Not only noisy, but wouldn't be good for my knees. Walking outside is much better for 'em. I really wanted to walk part of the way to Morrison's this morning, but it was pouring with rain, so it had to be the local bus stop. :( It has been raining all flippin' day, and I am sick of it. Snow forecast for Monday, noooooooooooo. :(

I know, they are a right royal pain in the wotsit. :( Touch wood, I think they are improving a tad. They don't seem to be cracking as much as they did. Kate said yesterday that hers have always cracked, so not to worry. :)

Down with ironing I say. Hmm, I wonder what my iron looks like??? I must get it out sometime in the near future as I have some stitching and knitting that needs to be pressed. Maybe wait until there are even more of them requiring the iron. ;)

What’s an iron? Haha. Glad I’m not the only one who avoids it. I feel like the thought of ironing saps all the energy out I might have had to actually do it!

Mmmm. It's a pity that doing the ironing doesn't count as aerobic exercise or we'd all be doing it.

Yer on Gary. I have a piece of Christmas fabric that needs ironing before I can use it to back a Christmas ornament. That too needs ironing by the way, as will my wall hanging when I eventually get a round to finishing it. Oh and I finished a crochet shawl this morning, that needs blocking and pressing. Where shall I send 'em? ;)
