Hi Hudds and welcome to the weight loss forum :)

You will receive great advice and fantastic support here and are never on your own, as we are all going through the same journey :)

There are lots of things to get involved in here eg The Daily diary, where you log down the food you are eating each day, and how many calories everything contains. There is also a weekly weigh in, so you just pick the day you would like to weigh in on.

One of the Administrators will reply in a few hours to you, with more advice for you.

Wishing you all the best with your weight loss journey :)

We all help and support each other here. You are never on your own, we are all here for you :)

Hi and welcome Hudds we look on this as a change in habit and move to healthy eating :) Lots of people are using the NHS 12 week plan and it's a good place to start as you can make the changes easily, so as long as you count ALL the calories you put in your mouth and eat within the calorie range for you then you will lose weight :) You can find all this information and links in the Newbie club :)

I would like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members, who are also just starting out, or re-starting.

If you just post a few words on the September Newbie Club thread to introduce yourself and respond to others there you will soon feel part of the club.

Follow this link to the Newbie club: healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

Please read all the information carefully, it is very useful and can be referred to whenever you want to check something.

It just remains for me to wish you well on your journey

:)

I calorie count and log my calories on an app called my fitness pal. I like it as I can scan food and search for fresh produce.

Stay active on the pagea and itll really help keep you focussed and achieve a healthier mindset.

To get you going, I can recommend you looking through the daily diaries.
