Hi everyone still waiting in A&E at the Hospital as my son is not well. While waiting I was really bored and tired, my son wanted a chocolate and some drinks and while buying for him, I bought myself a Snickers bar. After buying it however, I felt really guilty and dropped it in my bag to give it to my daughter. So there you go everyone! I said no to the choc!. Feels so good, Oh and they have just called us. Catch you all laters. Take care all.

Bye

Sana.

Well done, it is so easy to fall into that trap especially when you are bored and tired, I normally have a look at the calories and then work out that it could be the same as a entire meal!

I hope your son feels better soon :-) John

Thanks kantara71 for your kind words. Ever since I started looking at food like that , I am becoming more and more careful and avoid the junk as much as possible.

My son feels much better today as the bug is starting to leave him alone i think.

Sana.

Great willpower!

Hi Sana786. I do hope your son is feeling better now. I am very impressed at your willpower especially in times of stress, boredom and tiredness. Hope your daughter enjoyed the Snickers bar :)

Thank you muffintop67 and Hidden , my son is feeling much better now and is getting a good rest before he returns to school for his GCSEs next week.

Trust me guys it is very hard and I ended up giving into temptation today and had a bar of chocolate. Last night I came back really late. It was almost 4am before I got to bed but only had 2 hours of sleep as I had to go with my husband. He was on a 5 hour long course with just 10 and 5 min break and in such short breaks I could only get a drink of water and a quick snack. I just couldn't put it off any longer and bought a bar of chocolate with water. πŸ˜•πŸ˜

My daughter really enjoyed the chocolate as well.

Sometimes you do need a bit of something nice, I confess to having galaxy at the moment as I'm revising for an exam next week. Just a little keeps me going! πŸ˜„

It doesn't sound like you have eaten very much so sure the chocolate bar wouldn't have done much damage to your weight loss. You probably needed the sugar any way as you must be so tired. Glad to hear your son is feeling better now :)
